Welcome to Pacific Shores!

This Bed & Breakfast, set in the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia offers a private and pleasant stay in a room just a few feet from the ocean. Situated just on the edge of downtown Sechelt, and right on the waterfront, Pacific Shores is quite possibly the most unique location on the coast. While most of the waterfront homes on the Sunshine Coast have steep beach access, or rugged rocks for a shoreline, Pacific Shores has a gentle grassy slope down to the beach with a semi-private pebble beach. At low tide, a rocky reef exposes itself just a few hundred meters up the shore and reveals hundreds of starfish to explore and admire.

Apart from the superb location, stunning views and private property, Pacific Shores offers some other great amenities. The B&B room has its own private entrance and the floor to ceiling windows overlook the lawns out to the ocean towards Davis Bay. It is not uncommon to wake up and see a deer walking through the lawn to drink from the fish pond.

Pacific Shores is also very close to downtown Sechelt. Within a 5 minute walk, the local stores and restaurants offer something to do for those staying a few days.

Your host, Dorothy, will make your stay a very pleasant one with a warm and generous breakfast. This quiet getaway makes the perfect location for honeymooners, or just those who want to get away for the weekend. While most of the business is in the summer, the winter can be a very exhilarating time to stay at Pacific Shores. The powerful winter storms blow cool wet air over mighty waves which are a sight to behold. You can venture into the refreshing air and then retreat back to your room and enjoy warming up in front of the gas fireplace. For those who may live in warmer and dryer climates, a winter visit can be surprisingly refreshing and exhilarating.

The calm summers bring warmer waters and warm the rocks along the shore. Enjoy the sun and the view while reading a book, or partake in the local favorite of a late evening swim. With the sun setting as late as 9:30pm at night, the long warm evenings can be enjoyed just by sitting on a log and watching the sunset.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast. And we know that a visit to Pacific Shores will be fondly remembered!
